The Sirenland Writers Conference is held annually in Postiano, Italy on the Amalfi coast. You need to apply to get in. This year their featured workshop instructor is Ron Carlson, the director of the M.F.A. program in fiction and professor of English at U.C. Irvine. He is the award-winning author of several short story collections and six novels, including the newly published The Signal. Spend a week in gorgeous Italy immersed in writing workshops. What could be better?
